| The two main qualities clearly evident in our flock are growth rate and conformation, backed up with recorded figures. This is only achieved through using top class sires each and every year, some of which have our Miserden prefix. Main stock rams producing our 2006 crop are Loosebeare Kool Kat QEL04 198 a son of Muiresk Forever, was picked out of the Quick’s flock when we visited last year. He has left us a tremendous crop of lambs with fantastic conformation and size. He himself is a massive ram with tremendous back end. Signet Index 239 Claybury Junior, by Haddo Ignitor out of Claybury Istabraq (88,000gns) mother. His female line is tremendous. A very correct sheep, he stamps beautiful heads on all his progeny. Miserden Jupiter a tremendous son of our best stock ram Penare Flamboyant. Going back to Craighead Dynamite on his sire’s side and Annan Dazzle on his dams, he has both looks and excellent conformation. He has produced some of our best figured lambs for muscle this year. Miserden Kracker, owned jointly with Drayton Farm Partnership. By Caron He is Classic, grandsire Annan Eldorado out of a ewe going back to Annan Dazzle he has great length, size and substance, with wonderful top line and lovely head. His breeding makes him an excellent outcross for Craighead Hercules and Tophill Joe bloodlines. Breed Champion at Three Counties Show in 2005 and best shearling ram at Signet/Eblex performance day.
